Dialogue System //
Some characters, when interacted with, will launch a Dialogue Application. This is needed because dialogue would end up being hundreds of thousands of webpages.
Certain words in the gamebook will be encased with brackets: []
These are keywords
When speaking to a character you must include a Keyword in a sentence. For example, you find the world [OVERVERSE], when you speak to a character and want to know about their opinions on the Oververse, you’d type in: What do you think about the Oververse?
The system is inspired by the old 80’s style adventure games and is called a Parse Driven Dialogue System. Dialogue choices will alter relationships with characters and factions. Could lead to discoveries, or just gets you closer to the characters. Who knows, maybe they will change the way you perceive this strange world.
